Do Your Worst

It’s been a couple days and I’m still thinking about how much I enjoyed this! It’s so fun and cute! Very unique story and loved the Scottish ruins setting. Riley is a curse breaker and is trying to make a name for herself. Clark is an archaeologist studying the ruins and trying to clear his name after an unsuccessful previous job. Curse breaking has been in Riley’s family for generations but Clark doesn’t buy it and thinks it’s all a joke. However, the more time they spend at the ruins, the more strange things that can’t be explained keep happening and Clark is forced to reckon with larger forces potentially being at play. The castle is basically matchmaking for Riley and Clark and it’s a lot of fun. It reminded me of the house in A Court of Silver Flames that’s got a mind of it’s own and becomes Nest’as friend! I’ve never read a contemporary romance like this one and really enjoyed it! Lauren from BookHuddle recommended this on her Instagram and I’m so grateful!
