Agatha All Along

If you loved WandaVision, then don't sleep on this show. The end of episode 5 is an epic bait and switch. Going from a seemingly heartwarming and kooky witchy show to a villain character study that is legitimately scary- slowly reviving the dead horse that is the MCU.

I am not a big Marvel person, with the exception of WandaVision which blew me away. Agatha All Along so far is only halfway through so I can’t say exactly if it’ll have the same depth as WandaVision did but it’s certainly as entertaining and mysterious. Kathryn Hahn is a large reason why this show is so interesting. She was genuinely scary in episode 5 when she was possessed as well as when revealing she knew who Teen was. The bait and switch reminded me of how WandaVision seemed like it was going to be a black and white silly sitcom until it wasn’t- and was a moving story about grief.

I can’t wait to see how the series ends! It’s very Halloween season appropriate but honestly, wouldn’t say little kid appropriate. Seriously, Hahn’s performance and the makeup made me jump.
