Rebel Witch

I ADORED this! Such a fun true enemies to lovers. Everything that bugged me about Heartless Hunter got fixed in this. Gideon became a believable romance lead and Rune was amazing as always. In book 1, I did not see why Rune or anyone would ever be interested in Gideon. He was judgy and rude to Rune! But this book, he was everything. This is an actual enemies to lovers and we got some delicious moments from the get go. I loved their chemistry and we got so many good yearning moments. Them being fake husband and wife on the Arcadia was my favorite part. We got a couple “that’s my wife” moments and I ate it up. This had all my absolute favorite tropes: witch, enemies to lovers, one bed (on a boat is a new one! but love the one bed anywhere), fake marriage (even more delicious than fake dating), AND banter. Needless to say, this book was basically catnip to me. Def going to be a favorite read of 2025!
