Fall Candles from Bath and Body Works Ranked
Bath and Body Works has the best candles on the planet (not sponsored, LOL I WISH). I have tried to save money by buying candles elsewhere but could never smell them once they were lit so they were basically pointless. I have ranked the BEST fall smelling candles from Bath and Body Works based on the pleasantness of the smell and the throw (how strong it is/its ability to fill a large room with its scent). I am a firm believer that your environment can deeply affect how you feel and these candles lift me up and make me feel like it’s autumn always, which is exactly what I want.I personally love the sweet and super festive smelling candles so I will include a ranking of how sweet/ festive they smell as I understand not everyone is as eccentric with their scents as me.
I’ll be back to talk about Christmas candles.
10. Autumn Woods
Throw: 10/10
Sweetness: 0/10
Festive: 0/10
I first smelled this at my aunt’s house last year and was blown away by how lovely this scent is and how I could smell it from upstairs! The throw on this is impeccable and it smells slightly floral but also very clean, crisp, and classy just like my aunt. If you want a nice and pleasant smell that fills a room but don’t want anything sweet or pumpkin-y this is for you!
Throw: 5/10
Sweetness: 4/10
Festive: 3/10
So, this smells amazing but only works in a small room like a bathroom. In a living room or even a bedroom you won’t be able to smell it. But in a small room that it can fill up, this is a subtle cinnamon and pumpkin smell!
Throw: 7/10
Sweetness: 2/10
Festive: 5/10
This one has a pretty good throw and smells like apple cider. If you love a fruity apple smell and a subtle pumpkin flare thrown in there, this one is great.
7. Spiced Pumpkin and Patchouli
Throw:6/10
Sweetness:0/10
Festive: 6/10
This smells like a fall craft store.
Throw: 8/10
Sweetness: 10/10
Festive: 7/10
This one smells like Starbucks in October, or if you’re in Texas then late August. It’s smells as sweet as a PSL tastes. Like a pumpkin coffee and whipped cream.
Throw: 9/10
Sweetness: 10/10
Festive: 6/10
This one is a favorite year round but also happens to be festive ( which is perfect for someone like me who wants it to smell like fall year round). It smells exactly like it’s title- like a cinnamon spiced vanilla cookie. This one is very very sweet and can fill a large room.
Throw:9/10
Sweetness: 8/10
Festive:10/10
The smell of clove is a bit divisive, but I happen to love it. It is strong and smells like pumpkin muffins.
3. Leaves
Throw:9/10
Sweetness: 2/10
Festive: 8/10
This one is my husband’s favorite. It is a blend of apple, spice and also a little woodsy.
Throw: 10/10
Sweetness: 3/10
Festive: 10/10
This fills a large room and QUICKLY! It smells like pine and is the most autumn smelling candle that isn’t straight up pumpkin out there. I discovered when I did a quarantine candle shopping spree.
Throw: 9/10
Sweetness: 3/10
Festive: 10/10
This smells like a campfire with pumpkin spice. Discovered this one this year and it’s now my favorite fall scent.
