Quicksilver

What I love about this is that the romance felt earned and wasn’t corny. This was a good time! It took me a while to get into because the first 50% was Saeris and Fisher fighting but not in a fun banter way, like they bickered a lot. But once Carrion becomes a consistent character and we get to know Lorreth and Fisher better, I really enjoyed it! Fisher grew on me once he softened a bit. Also, I would do anything for Onyx the lovable fox! A solid 4 stars for me. It’s not in the same league as Empyrean or ACOTAR but it did have some of the things I liked from those stories and was still its own unique story.
