Mistborn

This really is as fantastic as everyone says it is. All of the characters are well fleshed out and perfectly flawed. It's got a unique and super cool magic system, political maneuvering, and a love story that is more YA but had a lot of heart and was only a part of the story and not the main focus. Vin's character arc is now one of my favorites and I love her found family. I really appreciated about this story that it has realists, idealists, and optimists and seeing how all of those perspectives try to work together in political maneuvering in a rebellion is interesting.

Off to read book 2!
