Aphrodite and the Duke

This was such a wild ride, ESPECIALLY for a regency romance! There’s a letter writing scandal but that’s far from the craziest thing that happens in the book. This is Jane the Virgin meets Bridgerton and I was here for the twists and turns. Also, maybe the prettiest person I’ve ever seen on a book cover before?!

There’s depth to the characters and intrigue that keeps you interested the whole way through. I was hooked from the beginning and loved the characters. Aphrodite and Evander were childhood friends that turned into a courtship a few years ago until Evander suddenly didn’t marry her and married someone else without explanation. It takes 4 years for Aphrodite to get answers about what happened and … let’s just say she gets what she wished for! Evander and his sister have had to endure a lot of hardship and Aphrodite truly saves the day. There’s a criminal half brother on the loose, a horrid step mother and communication issues but we wind up with a beautiful blended family!
